Skill Development
Many of the rural women who came in contact of MBUP were not fully educated because they got married at the age of 14 to 16 yrs. many of them wanted to study up to degree level. We tried to provide them all guidance & help to appear for the ent. exam of Y.C.M. U. .Many graduates and post graduates are our volunteers now. Through this initiative, we have tried to surface the protentials and hidden skills in rural women. This initiative started in 1992.
A wide range of vocational trainings ( from goat rearing to computer tally- 32 types) are being arranged.
Training for life skills are also arranged- like financial literacy, leadership development, working of a ration shop etc.
About 50% of the trainees have become financially independent.
A Training centre for music and dance is making the youth trained in both these arts and drawing.

Our new building as ‘Utkarsha Skill Development Center’
In the year 2019 -20 ,we could construct a new building for skill development in Sangola with generous help of our donors.
We are conducting computer tally ERP 9 (approved by Solapur University), beautician ( approved by Saraswati mandir, Pune) and tailoring & fashion designing courses in this building. We conduct Gandharv Mahavidyalay approved courses of instrumental & vocal music and kathak dance as well in this building. This helps our rural students to get more marks in SSC Board exams.

After training I got a job in the organization named Rajmata Mahila Sahakari patsanstha.( women’s Credit Society) in sangola. Because of my tally training I can now successfully hold the role of Secretary there.

This lady got married at 14 desired to be teacher . She was helped & guided to pass SSC board exam & then D Ed. Our institution MBUP guided her at each and every difficult turn. After she passed her DEd. she was appointed in our school as a primary teacher. When she retired, her son was principal of a college and all the 3 daughters got married after their graduation
