Activity Report of (February 2021 to June 2021)

  1. BSI (USA) donated a four wheeler vehicle to MBUP, making it convenient to visit self-help groups far and wide.

    The joint working between the two organisations (Mata Balak Utkarsha and Build a school in India) has resulted into a valuable contribution towards the  upliftment of the underprivileged society around Sangola.

  2. 43rd anniversary of Mata Balak Utkarsha Pratishthan,Sangola

    The ceremony of 43rd anniversary of Mata Balak Utkarsha Pratishthan was held on 7th march 2021. Our ex students were invited for this ceremony. They express their gratitude that Utkarsh School is a receptive school and is working to strengthen the foundation of children’s future. Also, beneficiaries of the five initiatives of women empowerment of MBUP ( Health, Fight against injustice, skill development, financial independence and Environmental awareness) were honoured for their efforts for uplifting herself and her family with the help of MBUP. This was done by help of Dr.Mandakini pansare, one of our donors . On this occasion, five employees of organization were felicitated who selflessly worked and fulfilled their responsibilities and were likeable to all.

  3. Visit of Vice Chancellor Of  Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar University, Solapur Dr.Mrinalini Phadnavis
    Vice Chancellor of Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar University, Solapur Dr.Mrinalini Phadnavis visited the institute and ‘Utkarsh Vidyalaya’.

    Our students of Skill development center were felicitated by the hands of Dr. Phadanvis for their success in exams.  She visited our Skill Development Center and got information about various trainings and expressed satisfaction, ‘The work of Mata Balak Utkarsh Pratishthan towards the goal of women empowerment and quality education, is commendable.‘

  4. Eye Camp at Ekhatpur

    A free eye check up camp was held at Gram Panchayat office at village Ekhatpur  collaboration with Shivpremi Sarvajanik Utsav Mandal.Ekhatpur.  A total of 247 beneficiaries  were examined in this camp. Out of which 65 beneficiaries were given spectacles at very low rates. Also 23 beneficiaries underwent free cataract surgery.

  5. Health check up & distribution of medicine to beneficiaries
    Examination camp of VD,TSH( thyroid), hemoglobin levels and sugers in the body of women was conducted. Total 26 women benefited from this camp.


  6. Wormicompost Project
    The organization provided beds for making vermicompost to the women members of Samarth Women Self Help Group at village Mahud. This project will help to generate income for women.

  7. Celebration of International Women’s Day
    A program was organized  by Maitrin Family Counselling Center,  for women employees of State Transport Corporation  on the occasion of  ‘Women’s Day.
